On December 2, 2025, Addiction Policy Forum will hold its Annual Leadership Awards Reception honoring policymakers, researchers, and community leaders who have made significant contributions in improving our nation’s response to substance use disorders. The event also recognizes innovators and changemakers whose leadership has driven advances in evidence-based practices, compassionate care, policy, and innovative solutions to support individuals, families, and communities impacted by addiction.

The 2025 Pillar of Excellence Awards honor four extraordinary leaders whose work is transforming the landscape of addiction prevention, treatment, and recovery and criminal justice reform across the United States. Each recipient embodies the spirit of innovation, compassion, and dedication that is driving national change.
