You may be eligible for a research study.
The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) is looking for volunteers between the ages of 18-65 who are dependent on opioids to participate in a research study focusing on how opiate-use disorder affects dopamine signaling in the brain.
Layout of the study:
Participants will attend one screening day.
Participants will be required to attend up to three days for tests and procedures.
Participants will receive PET and MRI scans.
While inside scanners, participants will do tasks and take tests of memory, attention, and thinking.
Participants must wear an activity monitor for one week.
