Kayla is a Peer Recovery Support Advocate for Addiction Policy Forum on the Patient and Family Services team. She is a Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor (CADC) and has her Associate's Degree in Addictions Counseling. She will be graduating June 2018 with her Bachelor's Degree in Human Services from National Louis University. Kayla will then go on to pursue her Master's Degree in Social Work.
Kayla has experienced a variety of trials and tribulations throughout her life. Through each of these experiences, she has persevered and grown. She has also had firsthand experience with individuals who have been impacted by a variety of addictions. She feels that each of her life experiences and relationships will be of value when working within this field.
