Jasper Bettendorf is a Health IT Associate and a proud member of the team building the Addiction Resource Center (ARC) Portal. Jasper has a long-standing and demonstrated interest in public service and advocacy. Prior to joining the Addiction Policy Forum, he founded a local activist and volunteer group in his hometown of Springfield, Missouri, where he also served as Secretary of his neighborhood association before he was old enough to vote. In his former department at Missouri State University, he assisted in collecting and managing large amounts of data for a Georgetown University study in cross-linguistic influence from Spanish in nonnative Portuguese development. Upon relocating to Washington, DC in 2016, he co-founded a nonprofit focused on insurance and health care literacy, where he serves as Vice President.
Jasper is a passionate advocate of health care access and employment and disability rights. His professional interests lie in developing processes and procedures related to data management.
