From a young age, Danielle has been motivated to encourage considerations of others, taking a special interest in community needs, and is resolved in improving the lives of those at risk. She learned firsthand how substances affect the family after losing her brother Alex in 2009. The family took a proactive approach; they established Live 4 Lali, a nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness and reducing stigma. She then graduated with bachelor's degrees from Miami University and Ohio before proceeding to join LEAD, a local nonprofit focused on youth preventative efforts.

Danielle knows firsthand that positive, sustainable initiatives are realized through the cultivation of education, collaborative ventures, advocacy campaigns and passion. Her aim is to utilize these experiences to foster support and resources for those affected by SUD in alignment with Addiction Policy Forum’s strategic vision.
