Mark O'Brien Joins the Team at Addiction Policy Forum as Policy Director

WASHINGTON D.C. – October 4, 2017 – We are honored to announce that Mark O'Brien has joined the Addiction Policy Forum as a Policy Director this week. 
Mark comes to Addiction Policy Forum from the Baltimore City Health Department, where he was the Director of Opioid Overdose Prevention and Treatment and led the city's Fentanyl Task Force and Overdose Fatality Review Team.  Prior to his work in Baltimore, he was a Senior Policy Associate at Legal Action Center in Washington, D.C. where he advocated for improved federal criminal justice and addiction policies, including participating in a coalition of advocates supporting and securing passage of the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act.
