We are thrilled to announce that the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) is collecting feedback from patients, families, individuals in recovery and those who have been personally impacted by addiction. And we need your assistance!
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are soon to award $12 million to 23 states and the District of Columbia to support their overdose response initiatives as the epidemic worsens. The CDC says "the funds will be used to strengthen prevention efforts and better track of opioid-related overdoses." The CDC hopes to launch more funding to address the opioid overdose crisis soon.
