Addiction Policy Forum Families Committee holds up pictures of loved ones lost to addiction

All of us who have lost someone, know someone who is struggling with addiction, or love someone in recovery, can make an impact by raising our voices together. You may have been asking what you could do to help or to become involved. Here is your answer!

We would like to invite you to CARA Family Day in Washington, D.C. May 18th - 19th, 2016 to meet with your members of Congress and encourage them to pass legislation that will comprehensively address the opioid epidemic, including S. 524/H.R. 953, the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act of 2016 (CARA). We need to put pressure on Congress and ask that they take swift action to address this deadly epidemic. To register for the event, click here.  We have a limited number of scholarships available to help defray the costs to travel to DC as well. For more information, fill out the CARA Family Day Scholarship form:

For those that cannot join us in DC, we invite you to join us on our Families Committee as we work together to better address prevention, treatment and recovery in our community.
