Agy lives in Des Plaines and is one of the Peer Recovery Support Advocates at Addiction Policy Forum Patient and Family Services. She is also the Volunteer Coordinator at Live4Lali. Live4Lali is a volunteer organization in Arlington Heights that provides substance use disorder prevention and harm reduction focused education, and raises awareness among individuals, families, and communities. She began her journey with them two years ago, shortly after losing her best friend to a heroin overdose. Since then she has been hoping to pursue an education and career in helping and educating others on substance use disorder, overdose prevention, and recovery. She herself is in long term recovery from cocaine use disorder, and her father is currently in recovery from opiate use disorder. Helping others has always been a passion of hers, and she is very excited to be part of the team. She lives with her boyfriend Nik and their three fur babies. Her hobbies include playing video games, hiking, reading, and snowboarding.
